You ever notice how easy it is to say “I want” and how hard it is to actually get it? Me too. I’ve watched people and clients do everything “right” and still trip over the same old patterns. The truth? It’s rarely talent or luck. It’s clarity, feeling and tiny habits.
Here’s what I tell people when they ask me in the studio: don’t chase the big leap first — build the path with tiny stones.
First, get specific. Stop “wanting” and name the thing. Write it down. Where are you? Who’s there? How do you feel? Specific goals tune your mind in like a radio — suddenly you hear the right stations.
Next, feel it. Don’t just plan it — feel it in the body. When you practice feeling like the successful version of you, your unconscious starts to line up the real world for you. That’s not woo. That’s brain science (and a lot of old-school hypnosis wisdom).
Then, act in little ways every day. Ten minutes of specific work. One short conversation that moves the project forward. Keep a review — but don’t overdo it. Checking too much kills momentum. Checking too little lets drift happen. Find your sweet spot.
If you want help fast: I’ve turned this exact process into a simple guided practice you can listen to (and re-listen to) at paulcloughonline.com/podcast. It’s free, it’s practical, and it embeds these ideas into your unconscious — the place real change lives.
