Why You Don’t Always Get What You Want (And How to Change That)

Let’s be honest — most of us have goals that never quite happen. We plan, we try, and then life gets in the way.

So why do we fail to get what we want?

  1. Write down all your goals — personal, professional, big, small.

  2. Notice which ones make you feel alive, curious, or even slightly nervous (those are the important ones).

  3. Ask yourself:

    “If I achieved this, how would it feel?”

That feeling — the feeling of the wish fulfilled — is what your unconscious mind listens to. When you combine that emotion with the right physiology and focus, your results accelerate.
